Protecting your private information is a priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to the leaphockey.com and Leap Pro LLC and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Leap Hockey include leaphockey.com and Leap Pro LLC. Leap Hockey is an online field hockey coaching platform, provided through the leaphockey.com website and through the Leap Hockey mobile app for iOS and Android. This policy covers both. By using the Leap Hockey website or mobile app, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Collection of your Personal Information

‍Leap Hockey may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name. Leap Hockey may also collect demographic information, such as your age and gender, to ensure the products offered to you are at the appropriate level. We may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future. Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Leap Hockey. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Leap Hockey website. Leap Hockey encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from Leap Hockey so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. Leap Hockey is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the Leap Hockey website.

‍Leap Hockey collects and uses your personal information to operate its website(s) and deliver the services you have requested.
Leap Hockey may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Leap Hockey and its affiliates. Leap Hockey may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered. Leap Hockey does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.
Leap Hockey may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Leap Hockey, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. Leap Hockey may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within Leap Hockey, in order to determine what Leap Hockey services are the most popular. This data maybe used to deliver customized content and advertising within Leap Hockey to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area. Leap Hockey will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Leap Hockey or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Leap Hockey; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Leap Hockey, or the public.

‍The Leap Hockey website may use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize Leap Hockey pages, or register with Leap Hockey site or services, a cookie helps Leap Hockey to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same Leap Hockey website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the Leap Hockey features that you customized. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Leap Hockey services or websites you visit.

Video and Audio You Share With Us

Members on our Premium plan may send us a video of themselves training or playing, so that a Leap Hockey coach can review it and reply with feedback. Sending a video is always optional. Nothing is recorded or uploaded unless you choose to send it.Who can see it. A video you send is private. It is not shown to other members, is not public, and is not used in our marketing. It can be seen only by Leap Hockey coaching staff reviewing it, and by the account holder — if the account belongs to a parent or guardian, that parent or guardian can see their child's video and the feedback on it.What we send back. Our coaches reply with a short voice recording, and sometimes a written note. That reply is stored with your account so you can listen to it again.How long we keep it. We delete the video you sent three months after you send it. We do not keep a copy after that. Your coach's feedback does not contain your video, so we keep that for as long as your account is open and you can listen to it whenever you like.If you want it gone sooner, email support@leaphockey.com and we will delete it.

How Long We Keep Your Information

Your account and training history : While your account is open
Videos you send for coach review :  Three months from the date you send them
Coach feedback : While your account is open
Payment and invoice records : As long as tax and accounting law requires, typically seven years
Support emails : While your account is open, and for a reasonable period after

Deleting your account removes your account, your training history and your videos. Payment records are held by our payment provider, Stripe, and cannot be deleted on request because we are required by law to keep them.

Children Under Thirteen
‍
‍Leap Hockey trains children under thirteen. We require a parent or guardian to create the account and to agree to this policy on the child's behalf. A child under thirteen cannot create an account themselves.
What we collect about a child. Their first and last name, their date of birth if given, and a record of the training they complete. Where a parent has given one, an email address so the child can sign in to the app. Many of our younger athletes have no email address and no login of their own, and train using their parent's device — in that case we hold no contact details for the child at all.
‍Video. If a parent or guardian chooses to send a video for coach review, that video may show their child. It is seen only by Leap Hockey coaching staff and the parent, is never public or used in marketing, and is deleted after three months. Only the account holder can send one.
‍Parental rights. A parent or guardian may at any time ask to see what we hold about their child, have it corrected, have it deleted, or withdraw consent and stop us collecting anything further. Email support@leaphockey.com from the address on the account.
We do not show advertising to children, do not sell or share children's information, and do not use it for any purpose other than providing the training service.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the Leap Hockey app, or by emailing support@leaphockey.com from the address on your account.If you are a parent or guardian, deleting your account also deletes the accounts and training history of the athletes you manage. The app tells you who will be removed before you confirm.Full details, including what is kept and for how long, are at app.leaphockey.com/delete-account.

‍Leap Hockey will occasionally update this Statement of Privacy to reflect company and customer feedback. Leap Hockey encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how Leap Hockey is protecting your information.
