How To Improve

Be sure when changing directions multiple times that you are shifting weight towards the fake be for changing directions. This will put you and the ball together for the explosive shift in the new direction. Sending your weight in the new direction and reaching back for the ball to make the direction change telegraphs the move.

How To Improve

On the shave tackle, don’t swing your arm through the space the ball is in with your feet planted. You cannot keep up with the ball if you hit it without moving. Your arm should go out with your knuckles to the ground and you shift weight in the direction you wish to go so you and the ball match speeds into the new space.

You attempted to flip the ball and move your arms to cross them before the ball left your stick completely.

How To Improve

The most important part of the move is the fake on the C-dodge to a pull and lift. If you are already leaning right as the stick goes over the ball, a good defender will know what's coming and reverse to tackle the ball. Through that head and sink into the left leg, everything says I am going to the left. The defender will never see the pull coming.

Be sure to shift weight towards the side you want to lift from so you can drop under the ball and lift with your legs. This will use more momentum and less arm strength to guide the ball into space and move with the ball instead of chasing it over a player's stick.

It will also put you with the ball when it lands to accelerate into the open space behind the defender.

On the fake to the right or left and then diagonal pull to the other side, drop down into your lead leg not over, and do a balanced head or shoulder fake to sell the dummy. By dropping onto the lead leg with balance the fake will not mess up the pull because you will use the leg you drop on to explode into the pull.
